Instructions for Using KAT WALK Self-Adaption Computer

29  Starting Installation

If you want to use your own computer, please make sure it meets the following hardware 

requirements:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 or higher.

Memory: 8GB or higher.

Graphics card: Geforce GTX 1070 equivalent or higher.

Hard disk space: at least 200GB available on the system partition.

Screen resolution: 1920x1080 or higher.

The PC running the KAT WALK must have the following software:

Operation System:

Recommended: Microsoft Windows 10 x64
Minimum: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64
Software and Run library requirements:
WinRAR decompression software.
Steam(Keep Updating)

Note: The above software / run libraries can be obtained free of charge on the official website of each software.

When you have already met the hard / software requirements for running VR games and KAT platforms.   
Please refer to the following process to deploy KAT entertainment platform.

 

 

Caution

1. Since the headset monitor needs to occupy an HDMI interface or a DP interface (need to purchase DP to Mini DP cable on your 
own), please adjust the computer screen / projector / TV display signal interface in advance based on your need or purchasing 
corresponding adapter based on your demand 
2. If the machine’s independent graphics card and the motherboard’s integrated graphics have a display signal  interface, please 
connect  the  display  cable  to  a  dedicated  graphics  card;  integrated  graphics  may  not  be  able    to  use  or  may  have  poor 
performance.
3. Using a display cable that is too long (≥ 10 meters) may cause signal degradation which leads to failing to display your content. 
when doing venue decoration, please note that control cable length according to the  situation .
