Cleaning agents and wastewater will cause water pollution
You may only wash your motorhome at facilities that are equipped for collecting the
wastewater and the cleaning agents therein.
14.3
Cleaning and maintaining the door and window seals
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. For maintenance, apply a thin layer of talcum powder (available from spe-
cialist dealers) to the door and window seals.
14.4
Interior cleaning
Hob, glass cover, worktop and refrigerator:
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. A mild neutral cleaning agent from a specialist dealer can be used to re-
move persistent soiling.
Floor:
The best way to remove dirt and dust is to use a vacuum cleaner. For more persistent soiling, use a soft,
damp cloth.
CAUTION
Risk of damaging the floor due to moisture from cleaning!
●
Avoid wet cleaning the floor or use only a slightly damp cloth.
Bathroom and toilet:
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. A mild neutral cleaning agent from a specialist dealer can be used to re-
move persistent soiling.
Note:
More information can be found in the operating manuals from the appliance manufacturers.
Kitchen sink and wash basin made of mineral material (David LS only):
In vehicles with LS specification (Lifestyle), the kitchen sink and the wash basin in the bathroom/toilet are
made of a mineral material.
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. A mild neutral cleaning agent from a specialist dealer can be used to re-
move persistent soiling.
Water and dishwashing liquid are usually sufficient for cleaning. A mild abrasive cleaning agent can be
used for stronger soiling. Do not use any aggressive chemicals, e.g. acetone. As the material is fully homo-
geneous, scratches and surface discolourations can be polished out with the provided polishing pad (320
grit). To do this, moisten the polishing pad with water and polish using a circular motion.
Furniture surfaces:
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. A mild neutral cleaning agent from a specialist dealer can be used to re-
move persistent soiling.
