Troubleshooting

For failure analysis, operate the FE320 camera kit with the Kappa maintenance software. This software can
read out the FE320 camera kit configuration, build-in test states and simply starts a video stream. The
software is downloadable at the following ftp link:

http://www.kappa.de/en/service/downloads/software-full-versions

Maintenance/Cleaning

After each field use, check the camera for damages and for loose or lost parts such as (but not limited to):



Screws



Sealing



Mechanical parts.

Cleaning

Clean the optical parts of the CSU with a dry, soft and dust-free cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaners. They
can damage the coating on the optics.
In addition, the glue of the protection glass can be damaged.

NOTICE

Damage to the CSU/CEU due to Electro-Static Discharge (ESD)!
The unit contains components which can be easily damaged by discharge of static
electricity.



You must ground yourself with approved antistatic equipment before you touch
the electronic parts of the camera.



During maintenance work on the CSU/CEU you must keep it on an ESD mat.
