To review the required scanning report, follow these steps:
1. Click the run hyperlink in the WebTuner main window with the
Scanner item selected in the list.
2. In the Scanner start parameters window (see Figure 37) press
the view log button. The window with the current scanning
status (if your Scanner is running) will appear on your screen.
The report may contain messages listed in the
subchapter 15.5 of Appendix B.
If the anti-virus scanner is not started, the window will contain the
results of the previous scanning operation.
10.9. WebTuner: administering
Updater
WebTuner for Updater. Defining Updater settings,
launching the program and reviewing the log.
WebTuner allows you to remotely administer the Updater program, i.e. to
change its settings, to launch it and to review the performance report.
To do this, use the config hyperlink on the WebTuner main window with
the Updater item selected in the list (see Figure 36).
By clicking the config hyperlink, you display the Updater window (see
Figure 39) with the following items:
•
Virus-definition database updating parameters (for details see
below).
•
Buttons:
•
run – launches the updating utility.
•
view log – displays the Updater performance report.
•
exit – allows you to exit the Updater window.
