Wheel and Tire
Wheel
Overview
−
Be especially careful for the first 500km on new tires.
−
When driving along the curb or similar sections, you may only
pass at a low speed and at right angles to the curb as far as
possible.
−
Check the tires frequently for damage (punctures, nicks, cracks,
pits). Remove foreign matter from tire tread.
−
Replace damaged wheels or tires with new ones as soon as
possible.
−
Prevent tires from contacting oil, grease and fuel.
−
If the valve nozzle dust cap is lost, install a new one in time.
−
Mark the wheel before removing it so that it can be reinstalled
in the original rolling direction.
−
Store removed wheels or tires in a cool, dry place and out of as
much light as possible.
New tire
When starting using new tires, optimal adhesive ability has not
formed yet, so it should be "run-in" in the first 500km with
moderate speed and corresponding careful driving mode. This will
extend the service life of tires.
Due to the structural characteristics and tire pattern design,
different new tires (Depending on model and manufacturer) have
different
pattern depths
.
Concealed damage
Tire and rim damage is often invisible. Abnormal
vibration
or
deviation during driving may indicate that the tire is damaged. If
you suspect that the tire is damaged, be sure to reduce the vehicle
speed immediately. Stop and check for damage to the tires. If no
damage can be seen from the outside, please slow down and
continue driving accordingly to the nearest KANDI-authorized
service station for inspection.
Tires marked with a rolling direction
These tires are marked with an arrow on the side indicating their
rolling direction. The tires must be installed in this specified
rolling direction. This ensures the optimized tire performance in
preventing water skiing, improving adhesion, reducing driving
noise and prolonging wearing life.
Rim with trim
The light alloy rim is equipped with replaceable trims, which are
installed on the rim through clips. If you need to replace the
