Check Brake Fluid Level
The brake fluid level can be visually checked.
Front engine hood: Marking on brake fluid reservoir
Check the level on the brake fluid reservoir. This level must
always be between the marks "ADD (minimum)" and "MAX
(maximum)".
For Right-hand Drive (RHD) vehicles, the reservoir is on the
other side of the front compartment.
During driving, the brake fluid level may decrease slightly due to
the wear of brake lining and its automatic adjustment, which is
normal.
However, if the fluid level drops significantly in a short period of
time, or falls below the mark "ADD(minimum)", there may be a
brake system leakage. If the brake fluid level is too low, the brake
fault indicator will also come on. Marking on brake fluid
reservoir.
Instruction
The brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir is shared by the brake
and clutch system.
Replace the Brake Fluid.
The change of brake fluid shall be operated by professionals.
The brake fluid has moisture absorption. As a result, it absorbs
water vapor from the surrounding air while in use. And excessive
water in brake fluid will cause continuous corrosion damage
inside the brake system. In addition, the boiling point of brake
fluid will be greatly reduced. Under certain conditions, the
braking effect will be affected.
Therefore, the brake fluid must be changed.
When the brake fluid must be changed, refer to your maintenance
manual.
It is recommended to change the brake fluid when performing
routine maintenance at the KANDI-authorized service station.
Because the necessary special tools and spare parts are available
there, the staff has the necessary expertise and is responsible for
the recovery and disposal of drained brake fluid.
