For the Right-Hand Drive (RHD) * vehicles, some of the
containers described below are located on the other side of the
front compartment.
Close the Front Engine Hood

Pull down the hood until it overcomes the support force of the
pneumatic spring support rod.

Then let it go to fall down and lock. Do not press it again!
Warning !
For safety reasons, the hood must be always locked securely
while driving. Therefore, the lock should be checked to see if it
is properly engaged after the hood is locked. If the hood is
flush with the surrounding parts, it means that it is locked
correctly.
If the lock is found not engaged, stop immediately and re-lock
the hood. Failure to do so may cause the risk of an accident!
