Roof and Door Mouldings

Description

The roof of the standard cab rises at an angle from the wind-
shield permitting a rear door opening approximately 68 inches

(1.73 m) high.

9.10.4

Cab Tilting

page

–

Description

The cab can be tilted to 45 degrees by means of the hydraulic
system. The cab can be tilted to 90 degrees, if needed, by pro-
viding a suitable hoist to carry the weight and disconnecting the
lift cylinder.

Cab Tilt Cylinder and Safety Prop

A hydraulic cylinder mounted between the deck and the frame
at a front corner raises and lowers the cab. The hydraulic pump
is actuated by a well-marked switch on the outside of the rail
near the rear axle. Also provided is a lanyard by which to unlock
the cab safety prop during the raising or lowering operation.

Left Front Cab Tilt Pivot

The cab attaches and pivots in front on two pins. The pins are
fastened to the front ends of the rails.
