Diagnostic messages provide information regarding the status of the controller and the connected
input/output modules. They also assist authorised service partners with troubleshooting.
10.6 Interpreting system messages
A system message shuts the machine down.
System messages are identified with the letter Y.
Messages are not numbered consecutively.

10.7 Communication modules
10.7.1 Troubleshooting the PROFIBUS module
10.7.1.1 Machine and SIGMA CONTROL 2
In the event of a bus communications fault, the red “Communication” LED and the yellow “Warning”
LED will flash on the SIGMA CONTROL 2. The following warning messages will be displayed:

0015 W Com-Module communication error warning message, the system dis‐
plays the following information for the purposes of troubleshooting:
1. For indicators on the communications module, see chapter 9.
If one or both LEDs are illuminated or flashing in red, please contact an authorised KAESER
Service partner.
