details.

3.1

Overview

Thumbturn cylinder and double cylinder

The Kaba surface-mounted mechatronic cylinder is a 22 mm round profile lock cylin-
der with an RFID antenna, locking module and e-module. The surface-mounted
housing with the e-module is fixed to the inside of the door directly on the cylinder.

The lock can only be actuated if the user key (Kaba smart key) is authorised electron-
ically. Access authorization and operation condition are signalled acoustically.

When used outdoors, the cylinder must be protected against sustained rainfall using
a weather guard.
