Do

extension leads and interconnections between pieces of equipment) are
properly made and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Switch off and withdraw the mains plug when making or changing
connections.

consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt about the installation,
operation or safety of your equipment.
Do
be careful with glass panels or doors on equipment.
DON’T
continue to operate the equipment if you are in any doubt about it
working normally, or if it is damaged in any way — switch off, withdraw
the mains plug and consult your dealer.
DON’T
remove any fixed cover as this may expose dangerous voltages.
DON’T
leave equipment switched on when it is unattended unless it is
specifically stated that it is designed for unattended operation or has a
standby mode. Switch off using the switch on the equipment and make
sure that your family know how to do this. Special arrangements may
need to be made for infirm or handicapped people.
DON’T
use equipment such as personal stereos or radios so that you are
distracted from the requirements of traffic safety. It is illegal to watch
television whilst driving.
DON’T
listen to headphones at high volume as such use can
permanently damage your hearing.
DON’T
obstruct the ventilation of the equipment, for example with
curtains or soft furnishings.
Overheating will cause damage and shorten the life of the equipment.
DON’T
use makeshift stands and NEVER fix legs with wood screws — to
ensure complete safety always fit the manufacturer’s approved stand or
legs with the fixings provided according to the instructions.

allow electrical equipment to be exposed to rain or moisture.

CAUTION
1. For your safety…

Never use the headphones when driving a car, motorcycle, or bicycle. This
could result in an accident.
●
Pay special attention to traffic around you when using the headphones
outside. Failure to do so could result in an accident.
●
Be careful not to turn up the sound volume too high. Your hearing can be
damaged by listening to sounds at excessive volume for long periods.
●
Do not disassemble or modify the headphones.
●
Do not allow flammable, water or metallic objects to enter the headphones.
●
If you find skin problems where the headphones are in contact with the skin,
stop use of the headphones; otherwise, it may cause inflammation or irritation
of the skin.
●
In the dry air such as in winter, you may feel a static shock when using the
headphones.
2. Avoid using the headphones…

in places subject to excessive humidity or dust
●
in places subject to extremely high (over 40°C or 104°F) or low (under 0°C or
32°F) temperatures
3. DO NOT leave the headphones…

exposed to direct sunlight
●
near a heater
4. To protect the headphones, DO NOT…

allow them to get wet
●
shake them or drop them against hard objects.

Be careful not to apply the power that exceeds the headphones’ input capacity.
This may result in sound distortion and could damage the oscillation board.

Grasp and pull the plug itself to disconnect the headphone. Do not pull out the
cord.
❏
When using the headphones nearby a cellular phone, noise may occur. Keep the
headphones away from the cellular phone.
❏
The ear pads will wear out earlier than the other parts even in normal use or in
normal storage due to the material characteristics.
❏
For replacement of the ear pads, consult with the dealer where you purchased the
headphones.
❏
When covering the headphones with an object, the noise-canceling function
may not work well or howling noise may occur. In this case, take away the object
covering the headphones.

Changing the Battery
The battery should be changed when the Operation indicator fades or does not turn on.
The Dual Noise Canceling Mode (WIDE/LOW) becomes less effective as the battery
is consumed so make sure to replace the battery as necessary to maintain the proper
performance of the headphones.
NOTES:
Misuse of battery could result in leakage. This could cause a fire or explosion.
To prevent this, pay special attention to the following points:

Be sure to insert the battery with correct positive

and negative

polarities.
•
Do not heat, disassemble or short-circuit battery and never dispose of it by throwing in a
fire.
•
Read the caution on the battery before use.
USING THE HEADPHONES
1.
Put on the headphones.
2.
Plug the headphones to the audio component.
•
For in-flight use:
Use the supplied plug adaptor.
3.
Slide the power switch to ON.
The Operation indicator lights up.
•
Without turning on the power, you can use the headphones. In this case, the noise
canceling function does not work.
4.
Select the noise canceling mode.
WIDE:
Reduces wide range noise frequencies such as airplanes
LOW:
Reduces low range noise frequencies such as trains and busses
•
When you turn on the power without connecting the audio component, only the ambient
noise will be reduced.

Schließen Sie den Kopfhörer nicht an Geräte an, deren Ausgangsleistung
die Eingangskapazität des Kopfhörers überschreitet. Dies könnte zu

Ziehen Sie zum Abtrennen des Kopfhörers mit festem Griff am Stecker. Nicht
am Kabel ziehen.

Bei Verwendung des Kopfhörers in der Nähe eines Handys können Störungen

EINLEGEN DER BATTERIE

Auswechseln der Batterie
Die Batterie muss gewechselt werden, wenn die Betriebsanzeige schwach wird oder
ganz verschwindet. Der Doppel-Rauschunterdrückungsmodus (WIDE/LOW) wird bei
schwächer werdender Batterie weniger wirksam; ersetzen Sie die Batterie deshalb immer
rechtzeigig, um die richtige Leistung der Kopfhörer zu bewahren.
HINWEISE:
Batterien können bei unsachgemäßer Behandlung auslaufen. Dies könnte zu
einem Brand oder einer Explosion führen.
Um dies zu vermeiden, sollten Sie den folgenden Punkten besondere Beachtung schenken:

BENUTZUNG DES KOPFHÖRERS

Setzen Sie den Kopfhörer auf.

Stecken Sie den Kopfhörer in das Audiogerät ein.

Für Verwendung im Flugzeug:
Verwenden Sie den mitgelieferten Steckeradapter.
3.
Schieben Sie den Power-Schalter auf ON.

1. Pour votre sécurité...

N’utilisez jamais casque en conduisant une voiture, une moto ou une
bicyclette. Cela pourrait provoquer un accident.

Lorsque vous débranchez le casque, saisissez la fiche du casque. Ne tirez pas

Lors de l’utilisation du casque près d’un téléphone portable, du bruit peut se

INSERTION DE LA PILE

Remplacement de la pile
Remplacez la pile lorsque le témoin de fonctionnement est faible ou ne s’allume plus. Le
mode Dual Noise Canceling Mode (WIDE/LOW) devient moins efficace quand la pile
est usée alors n’oubliez pas de remplacer la pile quand c’est nécessaire pour obtenir les
meilleures performances de votre casque.
REMARQUES:
Une utilisation incorrecte de la pile peut provoquer une fuite, ce qui
pourrait entraîner un feu ou une explosion.
Pour prévenir tout accident, faites particulièrement attention aux points suivants:

Veillez à insérer la pile en respectant les polarités positives

UTILISATION DU CASQUE
1.
Mettez le casque sur votre oreille.
2.
Branchez le casque sur l’appareil audio.

Pour une utilisation en vol:
Utilisez l’adaptateur de fiche fourni.
3.
Faites glisser le commutateur d’alimentation sur ON.
L’indicateur de fonctionnement s’allume.
•
Vous pouvez utiliser le casque sans le mettre sous tension. Dans ce cas, la fonction de
suppression du bruit ne fonctionne pas.
4.
Choisissez le mode de suppression du bruit.
WIDE:
réduit les fréquences de bruit à large gamme, telles que les avions
LOW:
réduit les fréquences de bruit à faible gamme, telles que les trains et les bus
•
Si vous mettez le casque sous tension sans connecter d’appareil audio, seule le bruit
ambiant est réduit.

ATTENZIONE

Nelle stagioni secche, ad esempio in inverno, quando si usano le cuffie si
potrebbero avvertire scariche dovute all’elettricità statica.

4. Per proteggere le cuffie:

Fare attenzione a non aumentare la potenza in modo da superare la capacità
d’ingresso della cuffia. Ciò può causare un suono distorto e danneggiare la
membrana oscillante.

Per scollegare la cuffia, afferrare e tirare fermamente la spina. Non scollegarla
tirando il cavo.
❏
Se si usa la cuffia vicino ad un telefono cellulare, si può avere del rumore. Tenere
le cuffie lontane dai telefoni cellulari.
❏
A causa del materiale di cui sono costituiti, i cuscinetti si consumano più
rapidamente delle altre parti anche se usati e conservati in modo corretto.

Per la sostituzione dei cuscinetti delle cuffie, si prega di consultare il rivenditore
dove è stato effettuato l’acquisto delle cuffie.

Se si copre la cuffia con un oggetto, la funzione di soppressione disturbi può non
funzionare e si può avere qualche sibilo. In questo caso, togliere l’oggetto che
copre la cuffia.

Sostituzione della batteria
La debole intensità luminosa dell’indicatore di funzionamento o la sua mancata accensione
indica che è necessario sostituire la batteria. Poiché il consumo della batteria rende meno
efficace la duplice modalità di soppressione dei disturbi (WIDE/LOW), per ottenere dalle
cuffie prestazioni ottimali si raccomanda di sostituirla non appena necessario.
NOTE:
Un uso errato della batteria può essere causa di perdita. Questo può causare
incendio o esplosione.
Per evitare ciò, fare particolare attenzione ai seguenti punti:

Assicurarsi di inserire la batteria con le polarità positiva

e negativa

corrette.
•
Non scaldare, smontare o cortocircuitare la batteria, e non smaltire mai la batteria
gettandole nel fuoco.
•
Prima dell’uso si raccomanda di leggere le avvertenze riportate sulla batteria.
USO DELLA CUFFIA
1.
Indossare la cuffia.
2.
Collegare la cuffia al componente audio.
•
Per l’uso a bordo di velivoli:
usare l’adattatore per spinotto fornito in dotazione.
3.
Fare scorrere l’interruttore di accensione nella posizione ON.
L’indicatore di funzionamento si accende.

Le cuffie possono essere usate anche senza alimentazione. In tal caso tuttavia la funzione di
soppressione dei disturbi non opera.
4.
Selezionare la modalità di soppressione dei disturbi.
WIDE:
consente di ridurre il disturbo su banda di frequenza larga, come quello
presente sugli aerei
LOW:
consente di ridurre il disturbo su bande di frequenza stretta, come quello
presente su treni o autobus

L’accensione delle cuffie senza tuttavia collegare il componente audio rende udibile il solo
rumore ambientale.
