S et to the Manual shooting mode.
The light sensitivity can b e electrically b oosted using the
GAIN switch when there is insufficient illumination on the
su
b ject. ( 3 positions)
The b oosting level for each position can b e specified using
[GAIN L], [GAIN M], and [GAIN H] in the [CAMERA
PROCE
SS ] menu.
Memo :
●
Boosting the sensitivity causes the screen to appear
grainier.
●
When in the Full Auto mode, this is fixed at AGC (Auto
Gain Control). However, when Program AE is set to
[TWILIGHT], the gain value is automatically set to 0 dB.

The shutter speed can b e set to a value according to the
user ’ s preference. When this is set to Auto, the shutter speed
is automatically controlled.

S et to the Manual shooting mode.

Set to the s hutter s peed adju s tment mode.
Press the S HUTTER b utton.
●
Video mode : The shutter speed that is set in the
manual mode is displayed.
●
S till picture mode : The current shutter speed is
displayed.

Select a s hutter s peed value.
Turn the ADJ./VOL. kno b up or down.
●
The selected value is displayed.
3 .
Confirm the s hutter s peed value.
Press the ADJ./VOL. kno b .
●
Doing so exits the adjustment mode and the shutter
speed is displayed in white.
Memo :
●
When in the still picture mode, shutter speed cannot b e
adjusted manually if exposure and aperture are set to the
manual mode. (The
S . S P display flashes for a b out 5
seconds on the screen and its setting b ecomes invalid.)
●
When in the Lolux mode, shutter speed cannot b e adjusted
manually. (The S . S P display flashes for a b out 5 seconds
on the screen and its setting b ecomes invalid.)
