Setting the Date
1 .
Turn on the power.
2 .
Pre ss MENU.
3 .
Select the [DISPLAY SETTINGS] menu.
Push the S et Lever up or down to select, then press the
center.
4 .
Select [CLOCK ADJUST].
Push the S et Lever up or down to select, then press the
center.
5 .
Set the date and time.
Push the S et Lever up or down to change the setting value.
Push the S et Lever to the left or right to jump to the next digit.
Press the center of the S et Lever to confirm your selection.

To return to the previous screen, push the S et Lever to the
left.

To close the menu screen, press MENU.
Memo :

If the date and time are not set, a A S ET DATE/TIME! B
message will appear every time you turn on the power.

You can select the display style of the date and time using
the [DATE DI
S PLAY S TYLE] item in the [DI S PLAY
S ETTING S ] menu. ( A Page 65)
Setting the Language
The following are steps to change the display language.
1 .
Turn on the power.
2 .
Pre ss MENU.
3 .
Select the [DISPLAY SETTINGS] menu.
Push the S et Lever up or down to select, then press the
center.
4 .
Select [LANGUAGE].
Push the S et Lever up or down to select, then press the
center.
5 .
Set the de s ired language.
Push the S et Lever up or down to select.
Press the center of the S et Lever to confirm your selection.

To return to the previous screen, push the S et Lever to the
left.

To close the menu screen, press MENU.
A ss igning Function s to the USER Button s
This camcorder comes with three U S ER b uttons. A specific
function can b e assigned to each U S ER b utton according to
your preference.
To do so, make use of [U S ER1], [U S ER2], and [U S ER 3 ] in
the [CAMERA S ETTING S ] menu. (
