3. Error codes

In case of the followng, check agan before you judge the case as trouble.

Phenomenon

Cause

Corrective measure

When tilting the sewing machine, the

buzzer beeps and the sewng ma-

chne cannot be operated.

Solenods for thread trmmng

When tilting the sewing machine with

out turnng OFF the power swtch, Ac-

ton gven on the left sde s taken for

safety sake.

Tlt the sewng machne after turnng

OFF the power.

Solenods for thread trmmng, re-

verse feed, wper, etc. fal to work.

Hand lamp does not lght up.

When the fuse for solenoid power

protecton has blown out

Check the fuse for solenoid power pro

tecton.

Even when depressing the pedal im

medately after turnng ON the power,

the sewng machne does not run.

When depressing the pedal after de

pressng the back part of pedal once,

the sewng machne runs.

Neutral poston of the pedal has var-

ed.

(Neutral poston may be shfted when

changng sprng pressure of the pedal

or the lke.)

Execute the automatic neutral correc

ton functon of the pedal sensor.

The sewng machne does not stop

even when the pedal s returned to

ts neutral poston.
Stop poston of the sewng machne

vares (rregular).

When tightening the screw in the

handwheel s forgotten at the tme of

adjustment of needle stop poston.

Securely tghten the screw n the

handwheel.

Presser foot does not go up even

when auto-lfter devce s attached.

Auto-lfter functon s OFF.

Select “FL ON” by auto-lfter functon

selecton.

Pedal system is set to KFL system

Change the jumper to PFL setting to

lft the presser foot by depressng the

back part of the pedal.

Cord of auto-lifter device is not con

nected to connector (CN37).

Connect the cord properly.

Touch-back swtch fals to work.

Presser foot s gong up by auto-lter

devce.

Operate the swtch after the presser

foot lowered.

Auto-lfter devce s not attached. How-

ever, auto-lfter functon s ON.

Select “FL OFF” when auto-lfter de-

vce s not attached.

UP poston move fals to work when

all lamps on the panel lght up.

The mode s n the functon settng mode.

The switch on the CTL p.c.b. is

pressed by the bound cords and the

aforementoned mode resulted.

Remove the under cover. Bundle the

cables by routng them accordng to

the normal routng method as de-

scrbed n the Instructon Manual.

Sewng machne fals to run.

Motor output cord (4P) s dsconnected.

Connect the cord properly.

Connector (CN30) of motor signal cord

s dsconnected.

Connect the cord properly.
