• Changeover of the teaching mode
Changeover of the teachng mode can be performed by the procedures below. Use t properly n
accordance wth the types of sewng products.
) Pressng the button located n the extreme rght sde of the control box, turn ON the power swtch,
and the settng for functon can be called.
(Refer to the Instruction Manual for SC-910.)
2) Call functon settng No. 2 of the dsplay n the control box.
Setting 0 (Initial set value) : Normal mode (manual teaching mode)
When the sewng comes to the corner secton, press left-hand (rght-hand) needle changeover
swtch and teachng swtch.
Sew the corner n a sngle needle state, lft the presser foot, turn the cloth, and sew the corner of
return.
It s not necessary for the operator to perform the release at the tme of return snce the release of
sngle needle after ths work s automatcally performed.
(Ths functon cannot be obtaned unless the teachng swtch s pressed.)
Setting 1 : Automatic move by changeover of single needle
It s the settng that the teachng mode s automatcally set when the separately drven needle
changeover swtch s pressed.
Wthout pressng the teachng swtch, number of sttches untl the presser foot goes up from a sngle
needle state s counted, and when the presser foot s lowered, the needle returns after the number
of sttches whch has been counted. Number of tmes of button operaton s decreased snce the
number of sttches of enterng and that of return are the same n many cases.
Setting 2 : Teaching mode changeover prohibition
It s the settng that the mode does not become the teachng mode even when the teachng swtch
s pressed after the separately drven needle changeover swtch was pressed and several sttches
were sewn.
Ths functon saves the trouble that the sttches of enterng and return do not agree wth each other
when the teachng swtch works after several sttches were sewn.
