1) Turn the power ON. Set K23 (materal edge
detectng sensor settng) n "enable"

3) Set the amount of feed from the materal edge

at 65 mm under the AC mode.
4) Press the ready key to brng the sewng ma-
chne nto the sewng state. Then, place a pece
of cloth of approxmately A4-sze on the preset
secton.
5) Actuate the preset devce to start sewng.
6) Measure the dstance

from the materal edge
to the edge of a buttonhole. Enter the measured
value in the field above the K26 pictograph.

7) Now, the postonng of the sensor s completed. Enter the desred amount of feed n

and measure the
aforementioned distance for the purpose of confirmation.
