1) Unpack product and check for damages and shortages.
2) Position of hood should be between 65 & 75cm from
the hob (See page 3) (Figure 1)
3) Locate and remove the
hanger assembly
from its
Packaging
4) Remove the adjustment screws from the hanger assembly
As shown in (Figure 2). Slide the motor block in or out of
the hanger assembly with a total length of no greater than
the desired total required finished height less 34cm.
5) Tighten the fixings to fix the chimney section at required position.
6) To install the
ceiling connection plate
, drill 8mm holes at A,B,C & D.
Using 10mm plugs or other suitable fixings for plasterboard, fix the
ceiling plate with the 4 screws 5.5x45mm supplied. (Figure 3)
7) Prior to fitting the internal and external
chimney sections
fix a 3.5 x 9.5mm screw to one of the holes on the right and
left hand sides of the hanger. These will act as a
“stop” to prevent
the chimney sections sliding down during assembly.(Figure 4)
8) To connect the chimney sections to the ceiling plate, place the
internal section inside the external section, slide up the hanger
assembly and rest on top of the two restraining screws fitted.

9) Attach the plastic chimney connector to motor connection plate
with the 3.5 x 9.5mm screws supplied. (Figure 6)
10) To connect body to ceiling plate, attach with M5 x 18 screws
supplied so that the text is on the front of the assembly (Figure 7 and 8)
11) Connect the duct for external ducting if applicable
12) Fix the chimney sections by sliding the external chimney section downwards over the
motor block and pull the internal chimney section so that it is over the ceiling
connection plate. Make parallel holes on the chimney section and the ceiling
connection plate in order that the chimney section can be fixed using then 3.5 x 9.5mm
nickel plated screws supplied.
Changing the 20w halogen lamps
Remove the glass cover with a material that will not scratch the surface of the product as
shown. Remove the faulty bulb by pulling downwards and replace with new bulb.
Do not hold the new lamp in your hand as skin contains salt and may cause the lamp to fail.
