3.5 To the left (Ackermann)

If this function is activated, the trailer/semi-trailer steers to the left according to the Ack-
ermann principle. In that case, the imaginary plumb lines go through the wheels of the artic-
ulated vehicle through a point that is to the

left

of the articulated vehicle. The angular

rotation differs per wheel on the steered axle.

Depending on the customer’s requirements, left and right can be swapped
over.

Procedure:
