General information about induction
Induction heaters work with low voltages and
high currents in order to create a magnetic
field. The magnetic field is concentrated to
the field amplifier. When the tip is placed
against iron or another magnetic material, the
magnetic field is short‑circuited and heat is
formed.
Information about heating
It is important to control the temperature
of the heated work piece, if quality is to be
maintained.
The human eye is influenced by the ambient
conditions. The illumination changes how the
eye experiences colour. Therefore, the heated
work piece should be examined in daylight.
The colour temperature scale, to the left,
simplifies visual control and, at the same time,
the stepwise presentation of temperature
improves the accuracy during heating.
