2.3) Wireless Device enrolling
To enroll the wireless devices, complete the following
steps.
1. Access the Installer menu, as indicated in the para-
graph “Access to the operations”.

5. Press 1 to enroll wireless devices by manually en-
tering the ID number, or press 3 to perform auto-
matic enrolling, then refer to the relative paragraph
below.

6a. Enter the 7-digit ID number you can find on the
wireless device (refer to the device’s instructions
for more details):

When you manually enroll wireless devices, to
complete enrolment, press the enrolling button of
the wireless device until the device’s LED turns
yellow.

When you manually enroll a wireless detector, the
keypad’s fault LED turns ON and the keypad sig-
nals the fault
Fail detect. nn because you
have to complete the enrolment.

A soon as you manually enroll a wireless device,
the control panel enable the option
BOSS > Wire-
less Module > General > Enrolled Wireless Re-
ceiver .
ID Used If the device is already enrolled, the following
message displays:
ID Used
Remove? 1=Y 2=N
Press 1 to remove the device ...
Done !!
... or press 2 to not remove the device
Go back to Step 5 .

You have to log out from the keypad to cancel the
Fail detect. nn fault.
No slots avail. If there are no more slots available for
enrolling the wireless device, the following message
displays:
No slots avail.
press ESC
Press ESC and go back to Step 3 .

6b. Press the enrolling button of the wireless device un-
til the yellow LED lights up (see the wireless device
instructions for more information):

If the enrollment of a wireless siren fails, press the
self-test button of the wireless siren until the wire-
less siren activates, or press and hold the enrolling
button for about 10 seconds, until the LED makes
three red flashes, then retry the enrollment.
7b. Press ENTER . The display shows one of the follow-
ing messages, depending on the wireless device
you are enrolling:
Enroll Zone
Confirm 1=Y 2=N
Enroll Siren
Confirm 1=Y 2=N
