NOTICE
Check the drive before switching it on for the first time!
Otherwise unsafe and oscillating behavior of the drive is possible.
Faulty settings can result in overheating and can destroy the drive.
Check the items below and follow the instructions:
•
Commissioning of the motor is prohibited until the motor has been
installed in the system.
•
Referring to the nameplates and wiring diagrams of motor and servo
amplifier, compare the continuous rated current and the AC rated
voltage of the devices.
•
Is the protective earth conductor (PE) connected and are motor and
servo amplifier grounded? Grounding is also required for short
functional tests!
•
Are all cables and connectors on the drive system safely installed and
mounted according to the wiring diagrams?
•
Have the control loop parameters been set? Otherwise the drive may
begin to oscillate.
•
Has it been checked before switching on the drive whether the safety
devices function properly?
•
Have all necessary protection measures against accidental contact with
live or moving parts been taken.
When configuring the digital servo amplifier, make sure that the correct
number of motor poles and of resolver poles is set.
•
Further important parameters can be set by selecting the motor from the
JetSym motor database.
If third-party motors are used:
•
Calculate and set the number of pole pairs.
Calculate and set the maximum motor currents in the servo amplifier
•
Calculate valid control parameters.

DANGER
Hazard caused by high operating voltage!
Extremely hazardous voltages of up to DC 900 V may occur!
The high operating voltage may cause muscle cramps, burns,
unconsciousness, respiratory standstill, or death.
•
Do not open the device.
•
While the device is in operation, do not touch the following terminals:
Power supply, motor voltage and DC link voltage.
