CAUTION
• Be careful not to pinch your fingers between the specimen holder and
goniometer.
• Always hold the specimen holder while the holder is being inserted
into the goniometer. If you do not do so, the specimen holder may hit
the goniometer causing damage to the goniometer due to the force of
vacuum.

Removing the specimen holder from the goniometer

Turn off BEAM VALVE (L1-

Select “Property” on the “TEM Controller” main menu to open the “Specimen
Property” screen.

Click “Holder Exchange” on the screen.

When a double-tilt specimen holder is used, “Holder Exchange” should be
clicked again.
