5 OPERATION

5.3.5a Current center adjustment
1.
Select “Maintenance” on the “TEN Controller” main menu to display the
“Alignment Panel for Maintenance” screen.
2.
Obtain an image in the MAG mode.
3.
Focus the image using OBJ FOCUS (R1-
⑥
).
4.
Diverge the beam to the extent of the entire fluorescent screen.
5.
Bring a conspicuous image to the screen center.
6.
Depress “Wobbler-OBJ” on the “Alignment Panel for Maintenance” screen.
The image now starts to expand and contract periodically.
7.
Depress the BRIGHT TILT switch (L1-
⑥
) or depress “DEF Select-CLA” on
the “Alignment Panel for Maintenance” screen.
8.
Manipulate DEF/STIG (L-
⑩, R1-④
) to bring the image expansion/contraction
center to the screen center.
9.
Turn off “Wobbler-OBJ” on the “Alignment Panel for Maintenance” screen by
depressing “Wobbler-OBJ”.
5.3.5b Voltage center adjustment
1.
Select “Maintenance” on the “TEN Controller” main menu to display the
“Alignment Panel for Maintenance” screen.
2.
Obtain an image in the MAG mode.
3.
Focus the image using OBJ FOCUS (R1-

).
4.
Diverge the beam to the extent of the entire fluorescent screen.
5.
Bring a conspicuous image to the screen center.
6.
Depress the HT WOBB switch (R1-

) or “Wobbler-HT” on the “Alignment
Panel for Maintenance” screen.
The image now starts to expand and contract periodically.
7.
Depress the BRIGHT TILT switch (L1-
⑤
) or depress “DEF Select-CLA” on
the “Alignment Panel for Maintenance” screen.
8.
Manipulate DEF/STIG (L-
⑩, R1-④
) to bring the image expansion/contraction
center to the screen center.
9.
Turn off the HT WOBB switch or depress “Wobbler-HT” on the “Alignment
Panel for Maintenance” screen to turn off by depressing “Wobbler-HT”.
