S.A.M.E. TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE ON JHD3620 AND JHD1620
The JHD3620 and JHD1620 also have a Full 7-Channel NOAA Weatherband Tuner which is a nationwide network of radio stations
broadcasting continuous weather information directly from the nearest National Weather Service office.
S.A.M.E. allows you to enter a single county for the alerts,
eliminating unnecessary alerts for nearby counties
S.A.M.E. will also broadcast other non-weather related (NWR)
emergencies such as an Amber Alert or Evacuation Alert
• S.A.M.E. DATA contains information about the geographic
region affected by the Alert, the type of alert, and it’s
effective time
• S.A.M.E. is activated by programming a 6-digit FIPS Code
• Available by calling the National Weather
Service toll free
• Visiting their website
• Program up to Seven different geographical Area Codes
• Select one or more area codes that you
might frequent
