Storing OTDR measurements
Once the measurements have been made, results can be stored.
If
Auto store
has been selected in the configuration file, then the results
will be saved automatically.
If not, you can click on
Store Trace
to save the results trace with the
name saved in the configuration file (with SmartOTDR™) or with the file-
name defined in the
F
ILE
>
Setup
page (with OTDR Expert).
The OTDR traces are stored with the extension ".sor" or «.msor».
Saving when the instrument is shut down
When the instrument is switched off, all the parameters and all the traces
opened are saved.
They are recalled at the next start of the T-BERD/MTS.
Recalling OTDR
files
Once a OTDR file has been stored, recall it using the Explorer:

Select Explorer with the

ILE
hardkey

Select the directory and then the file to open

Click on
Load
>
View Trace(s)
The selected file(s) open(s)

View Trace
maintain the Setup parameters currently used.
