12.3 - VTX A8 SB FOR PULL-BACK
The primary role of the Suspension Bar is to be used as a pull-back attachment at the bottom of an array to support array configurations
that require a significant amount of down-tilt. In this case the VTX A8 AF is used at the top of the array for the primary suspension point,
with the VTX A8 SB attached to the bottom of the array and lifted with a second, rear motor point. The two motors are used to achieve
the desired array down-tilt.
STEPS:
• Follow the steps in chapter 9 to suspend the VTX A8 array using the hoist attached to the Array Frame.
• Make sure the Suspension Bar attachment tabs have been extended to the outside position so the SB can connect to an A8
cabinet.
• Use the VTX A8 Quick Release Pins to attach the Suspension Bar to the last VTX A8 of the array.
• Attach the hoist to the center shackle position of the Suspension Bar and list the array.
