III powered speaker system leverages the
extensive JBL audio heritage in the pro and consumer arenas
to deliver a world-class listening experience for use with your
laptop or desktop computer. The 3.5mm mini stereo jack also
allows connectivity to a variety of audio devices. Proprietary
Warrior transducer technology has been utilized to ensure that
Duet III speakers offer great bass, a crystal-clear midrange
performance and silky smooth highs. To help achieve this, the
Duet III system has an onboard JBL amplifier that is designed
to supply high output with minimal distortion. This powerful
transducer and amplifier combination produces great audio,
whether you are listening to music, checking out the latest
news, or challenging the latest game.

Place the speaker system on a stable, level surface. Do not
drop, apply excessive force to the controls, or put heavy

If cleaning is required, use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use
a damp cloth without any solvents.
•
In order to protect the speaker system, avoid microphone
feedback, continuous output from electronic musical
instruments, or distorted output from any signal source.
•
Do not place the speakers close to fluorescent light sources
or neon light fixtures.

Although the speakers are magnetically shielded, keep
magnetic storage media (discs and tapes) at least 4" from the
speaker system, in order to avoid data loss.
•
Warning – to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal
waste; use separate collection facilities.
Contact your local government for information regarding the

mini jack stereo da 3.5mm permette inoltre l’utilizzo con svariati

acuta estesa e lieve come seta.
Un aiuto fondamentale nel raggiungimento di questa straordinaria
performance è fornito dall’amplificatore incorporato JBL,

alla luce diretta del sole, alla polvere o vibrazioni eccessive.
• Collocare il sistema dei diffusori su una superficie stabile e
livellata. Non far cadere, non applicare forza eccessiva ai
comandi e non collocare oggetti pesanti sui diffusori.
• Pulire solo con un panno asciutto e morbido. Se necessario,
usare un panno umido senza solventi.
• Per proteggere il sistema di diffusori, evitare interferenze con
microfoni, emissioni continue di strumenti musicali elettronici o
emissioni distorte provenienti da qualsiasi sorgente.
• Non collocare i diffusori vicino a fonti luminose fluorescenti o
luci al neon.
• Sebbene i diffusori siano schermati magneticamente,
mantenere i supporti magnetici (dischi e nastri) ad almeno
10cm di distanza dal sistema dei diffusori per evitare perdite di
dati.
• Attenzione - per ridurre il rischio di incendio o choc elettrici,
non esporre il prodotto alla pioggia o all’umidità.
Non smaltire le apparecchiature elettriche insieme ai rifiuti
generici; utilizzare la raccolta separata.
Mettersi in contatto con l’amministrazione pubblica per
sapere se è disponibile un sistema di raccolta adeguato. Se le

Duet™ III nutzt die gesamte
langjährige, technische Kompetenz und Erfahrung von JBL im
Lautsprecherbau in vollem Umfang dazu, Ihnen ein Hörerlebnis
auf Weltklasse-Niveau für Ihrem mobilen oder stationären PC
zu ermöglichen. Durch den 3,5mm Mini – Klinken – Anschluss
können Sie es mit einer großen Anzahl verschiedener Audio –
Geräte verbinden. Der Einsatz proprietärer Worrior – Lautsprecher
– Technik sorgt für abgrundtiefen Bass, einen detailreichen
Mitteltonbereich sowie kristallklare, samtweiche Höhen.
Hinzu kommt eine integrierte Endstufe, die eine hohe
Ausgangsleistung bereitstellt ohne dabei Verzerrungen zu
erzeugen. Diese leistungsstarke Lautsprecher- / Verstärker-Kombi
besticht durch hervorragende Klangeigenschaften – ganz egal
ob Sie gerade Musik oder Nachrichten hören bzw. die neuesten
Computerspiele durchleben.

Bitte beachten Sie folgende Sicherheitshinweise:

• Schützen Sie Ihr Lautsprechersystem indem Sie
Rückkopplungen über Mikrofon vermeiden, elektronische
Instrumente direkt anschließen oder verzerrte Signale von
einer beliebigen Quelle wiedergeben.
• Stellen Sie das Lautsprechersystem nicht in der Nähe von
Leuchtstoffröhren, Neonlicht oder Leuchten auf.
• Obwohl der Lautsprecher magnetisch abgeschirmt ist, sollten
Sie ihn nicht in der Nähe magnetischer Speichermedien
(Disketten, Bänder usw.) aufstellen - halten Sie einen
Sicherheitsabstand von mindestens 10 Zentimetern ein.
• Warnung: Schützen Sie Ihr Lautsprechersystem vor Regen und
Feuchtigkeit - es besteht sonst Brandgefahr.
Entsorgen Sie elektrische Geräte nicht im Hausmüll;
nutzen Sie die Sammelstellen der Gemeinde.
Fragen Sie ihre Gemeindeverwaltung nach den Standorten
der Sammelstellen.
Wenn elektrische Geräte unkontrolliert entsorgt werden, können
während der Verwitterung gefährliche Stoffe ins Grundwasser
und damit in die Nahrungskette gelangen, oder die Flora und
Fauna auf Jahre vergiftet werden.

FCC-Vorschriften Teil 15. Diese Vorschriften wurden entwickelt,

Duet™ III actieve luidspreker systeem maakt de enorme
ervaring van JBL in zowel professionele als consumenten audio
beschikbaar voor gebruik met uw laptop of desktop computer
voor een luister belevenis van wereldklasse. De 3.5mm mini
stereo jack aansluiting maakt het ook mogelijk om de JBL
®
Duet™ III aan te sluiten op verschillende audio apparaten. Onze
eigen Warrior transducer technologie is hier toegepast om er
zeker van te zijn dat de Duet III luidsprekers een diepe bas,
kristalhelder midden en zijdezacht hoog produceren. Het Duet
III systeem heeft een ingebouwde JBL versterker die speciaal is
ontwikkeld voor een krachtig geluid met minimale vervorming.
Deze sterke combinatie van weergever en versterker produceert
een geweldige klank, ongeacht of u naar muziek luistert, naar het
laatste nieuws of een spelletje speelt.
VEILIGHEID
Lees de volgende aanwijzingen voor dat u het apparaat in gebruik
neemt!
• Lees deze aanwijzingen – lees alle aanwijzingen over bediening
en veiligheid aandachtig door voordat u het systeem in gebruik
neemt.
• Bewaar deze aanwijzingen voor later gebruik.
• Houd u aan de aanwijzingen – lees alle aanwijzingen omtrent
veiligheid zorgvuldig door en houd u er aan.
• Volg alle aanwijzingen nauwgezet op – volg alle aanwijzingen
omtrent bediening en gebruik nauwgezet op.
• Om elektrische schokken te voorkomen nooit de behuizing
openen.
• Er bevinden zich in het apparaat geen door de gebruiker te
onderhouden delen; laat service over aan een gekwalificeerde
technicus of aan Harman Kardon service.
• Stel het luidsprekersysteem niet bloot aan extreme
temperaturen, vochtigheid, direct zonlicht, veel stof of trillingen.
• Plaats de luidspreker op een stabiele en stevige ondergrond.
Laat het niet vallen, oefen geen extreme kracht uit op de
bedieningsorganen en plaats er geen zware voorwerpen op.
• Maak het apparaat schoon met een droge doek; gebruik zonodig
een iets vochtige doek zonder reinigingsmiddel.
• Vermijd rondzingen, continu signalen van elektrische of
elektronische muziekinstrumenten en vervormde signalen om
beschadiging te voorkomen.
• Houd het apparaat uit de nabijheid van TL-buizen en
spaarlampen.
• Hoewel de luidsprekers magnetisch zijn afgeschermd, is het toch
verstandig magnetische opslagmedia (discs en tapes) minimaal
10 cm bij de luidspreker vandaan te houden om te voorkomen dat
gegevens verloren gaan.
• Waarschuwing – om de kans op schokken of brand te verkleinen
het apparaat nooit blootstellen aan regen of vocht.
Werp elektrische apparatuur niet weg bij het huisvuil; lever het
in op de daarvoor aangewezen plaats.
Neem contact op met de plaatselijke autoriteiten voor
informatie waar apparatuur kan worden ingeleverd.
Wanneer elektrische apparaten worden weggegooid op
de vuilstort of in de dump, kunnen gevaarlijke stoffen in het
grondwater en in de voedselketen terecht komen met alle
gevolgen voor de gezondheid.
Bij de vervanging van oude apparaten door nieuwe is de
leverancier wettelijk verplicht zonder kosten het oude apparaat
voor vernietiging in te nemen.
FCC VErKLarING EN
WaarSCHUWING (USa)
Uit testen is gebleken dat deze apparatuur voldoet aan de
eisen voor klasse B digitale apparatuur, conform Artikel 15 van
de FCC regels. Deze grenzen zijn vastgelegd om een redelijke
bescherming te bereiken tegen gevaarlijke interferentie in een
woonkamersysteem. Deze apparatuur maakt gebruik van en
genereert radiofrequenties, straalt deze uit en wanneer e.e.a.
niet overeenkomstig de aanwijzingen wordt geïnstalleerd,
kunnen storingen op het radioverkeer worden veroorzaakt. Er
is echter nooit een garantie dat er in een specifieke installatie
geen storingen zullen optreden. Mocht dit apparaat hinderlijke
storingen op radio- of televisieontvangst veroorzaken, wat
kan worden vastgesteld door het apparaat uit- en weer in te
schakelen, probeer deze situatie dan te corrigeren op één van de
volgende manieren:
a) Verplaats de antenne of richt deze anders.
b) Vergroot de afstand tussen de apparatuur en de ontvanger.
c) Verbind dit apparaat met een stopcontact van een andere
groep dan dat waar de ontvanger op is aangesloten.
d) Raadpleeg uw leverancier of een ervaren radio/TV technicus.
Speciale toebehoren die nodig zijn voor het voldoen hieraan,
dienen in de handleiding te worden gespecificeerd.
MODIFICATIES DIE NIET UITDRUKKELIJK ZIJN GOEDGEKEURD
DOOR DE FABRIKANT KUNNEN DE GEBRUIKER CONFORM DE
FCC-REGELS HET GEBRUIK VAN DIT APPARAAT ONTZEGGEN.
Normaal gebruik van dit apparaat kan worden verstoord door
krachtige elektromagnetische interferentie. In dat geval kunt u
het apparaat resetten als in de handleiding beschreven. Helpt dat
niet, gebruik het apparaat dan op een andere locatie. Dit apparaat
dient te worden gevoed door een aangegeven lichtnetadapter,
gekenmerkt als ‘Limited Power Source’, ‘LPS’ en ‘Class II’ op de
adapter, spanning 18 V DC, 1,2 A min. Tma min. 400C.
