5.5 Settings
My lighting:
By selecting the LED(s) connected the controller uses the appropriate light
profile.
Acclimatisation:
The acclimatisation is activated by adding the check symbol. It reduces
the brightness in all themed aquariums and aquariums in manual mode by 50% of the pro-
grammed value. Over a period of 30 days the brightness increases evenly until the originally
programmed value is reached and the acclimatisation is automatically deactivated. This
enables the aquarium inhabitants to acclimatise gently after switching from comparatively
dark fluorescent tubes to the JBL LEDs.
My Controller:
This menu displays details about the controller. You can change the name
and password of the controller here.
My Network:
Integrating the controller into your home network and allowing the smart-
phone to operate the controller through your home network is optional. It averts a network
change when connecting to the controller and allows your smartphone to access the in-
ternet.
Android:
In the “My Network” screen, select your home network from the Available Net-
works list and enter your password. For invisible networks, the SSID can also be entered
manually after pressing the button with the plus sign.
IOS:
Press the plus sign button and enter the SSID and password of your home network.
Under „current network“ you can see which network the controller is currently connected
to. If the controller is to be integrated into another network, the old network must first be
left. To leave, press and hold down „current network“ and confirm with „Yes“.
My lighting
Selection: only operation of the JBL LED SOLAR
NATUR or together with JBL LED SOLAR EFFECT.
Acclimatisation
Switch acclimatisation on/off (to acclimatise aquarium
inhabitants when lighting is changed).
My controller
Change controller name or password.
My network
Integrate the controller into the home network
(required for Internet connection).
Then connect the smartphone to the home network.
6. Maintenance
Do not use hard objects or abrasive cleaning agents. If necessary, use a lint-free dry cloth to
remove dust and any other deposits from the surface of the controller.

* The app does not retrieve GPS data. Location sharing is only required for viewing the
available networks. Since the display of nearby networks makes the user‘s own position
calculable, the user must be informed and agree according to Google‘s specifications.
The location sharing feature can be disabled after adding the controller or the connecting to
the home network.
8. Disposal
Do not dispose of this appliance and all its components in your general household
waste. Comply with local disposal regulations for electric appliances.
