Chapter 4

THE SYSTEMS

PLUMBING SYSTEM

Your motorhome contains a complete fresh water system. The components of the system include

water tanks, water fill connections, demand pump, faucets, etc. Depending on your model, the

water system may be one of the following:

• Full basement - utility center

• Full basement - non-utility center

• Non-basement

The following sections will help you understand the operation of your system. Please review all

instructions for a complete understanding of the system. If you have questions, please consult your

dealer for assistance.

FULL BASEMENT - UTILITY CENTER (MANIFOLD)

The utility center operation is defined on the label attached inside the utility center. By positioning

the five control valves on the utility center as indicated (Fig. 4-1), the following operations will be

completed:

•

Normal

- This setting allows you to pump water from the fresh water tankto all faucets when

you are not hooked up to city water. Turn on your 12-volt demand pump to accomplish this.

•

City Water

- This setting allows you to have access to water at all faucets on demand.

Connect a garden hose from an outside water source to the city water connection inlet at the

utility center and turn on your outside water.

•

City Tank Fill

- This setting allows you to fill your fresh water tank. Connect a garden hose

from an outside water source to the city water connection inlet at the utility center. Turn on

your outside water.

•

Sanitize Tank

- (See instructions in the “Utility Center Sanitization” section.) This setting

may also be used to fill the fresh water tankfrom the external container.

•

Antifreeze/Sanitize Lines

- (See the instructions in the Winterizing Units with Utility

Centers” in this manual.)
