EXTERIOR
1.
Ensure the antenna is not loose, bent, broken or cracked.
2.
Check the black antenna grommet is in good condition
and is not damaged.
3.
Check for condensation in the IR LED bank.
4.
Wipe excess dirt from camera lens with a soft cloth and
use a moist cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to
thoroughly clean.
5.
Clean inside the PIR cover.
6.
Clean inside the ambient light sensor port.
7.
Ensure the latch is tightly securing the camera housing.
8.
Inspect the outside of the camera body for any cracks
which may cause water or moisture to damage
electronics.
9.
Apply even pressure to camera face and main body
housing when closing to ensure proper alignment of
waterproof seal.
10.
Inspect the DC port covers for dry rot and damage.
INTERNAL
1.
Inspect the inside of the camera body for any cracks which may cause water or moisture to
damage electronics.
2.
Inspect the O-ring around the door housing for damage or dry rot.
3.
Check for damage to the battery terminals. If any damage is found immediately remove batteries,
dispose of batteries appropriately and clean the terminals with a cotton swab and a very small
amount of cleaning agent like vinegar or lemon juice (the acid will help remove any corrosion).
Wipe any residue away with a clean cloth and allow to dry completely before inserting fresh
batteries.
4.
Inspect the screen for any damage or cracks.
5.
Inspect the control buttons and the selector switch for damage or wear.
6.
Inspect but do not remove the 4 small screws in the faceplate of the camera and the screws in the
battery housing compartment for signs of moisture damage.
WARNING! Removing screws from
internal camera ports will damage electronic components and void the warranty.
7.
Inspect and clean (if necessary) the SD and SIM cards ensuring that there is no debris in these
locations.

Inspect and clean the USB Port
