5. Analyzing recordings: Analyzing a recording allows the user to plot swing plane lines
as well as play the recording in normal speed or in a slower frame by frame speed.
3.3 App Swing Lines
Swing Lines: Swing plane lines are intended to analyze club & body positioning throughout
the duration of the golf swing. These lines provide instant feedback so the user can monitor
their swing & make adjustments accordingly to improve their consistency, accuracy & power.
Line 1: Vertical line: Intended to be used during a straight on recording shot to check head
position, shoulder angle, ball position, and body movement. The golfer’s trailing shoulder
should be lower than their leading shoulder creating an upward shoulder angle. A golfer’s
head positioning should never be ahead of their hips throughout the swing. Ideally, a golfer
who keeps their body stable and compact during the swing will produce more accurate and
powerful golf shots.
