ONFIGURATION
Account taken of the different requirements (communications, operating comfort, change
margin), the following minimum configuration is recommended:
•
PC type Pentium II 350MHz
•
32 Mbytes RAM
•
1 Gbytes hard disk
•
1 CD-ROM disk drive
•
1 off 256-color video circuit-board, resolution 1024
×
768 not interlaced
•
1 serial port (RS232 by default, RS422 as option) for links with the acoustic
transponder
•
1 mouse
The following extension is optional: parallel port to print.
The MMI BALI may operate with a hardware configuration of a lower level than that
described here above, but the results are not warranted by iXBlue.

ONFIGURATION
The minimum software configuration required to operate MMI BALI is: Windows 95 (from
release B), 98, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP operating systems.

To install the MMI BALI on your computer, insert the CD-ROM delivered with the
transponder and launch the file
setup.exe
. The installation software guides you through
the rest of the procedure. No modification of the
config.sys
,
autoexec.bat
and
sys.ini
files is required to operate the MMI BALI.

OOTING
BALI
The MMI BALI may be booted in two different ways:
•
Through the “File / Run” command of the program manager or Windows file manager,
by entering
bali.exe
in the field reserved for the command line.
•
Through the icon installed in the “BALI” group or in the group selected by the operator
at installation stage.
Obviously, the second alternative is recommended.
