SCSI BIOS Setup
4.1 Introduction
The motherboard has an configuration utility, SCSISelect, which allows you to change SCSI
controller settings. SCSISelect also includes SCSI utilities that let you list the SCSI IDs of
devices, format SCSI disk drives, and check them for defects.
4.1.1 Enter SCSISelect utility
To enter the SCSISelect utility, boot the computer and press <Ctrl><A> when the following
message appears:
Press <Ctrl><A> for SCSISelect ™
Utility !
4.1.2 Using SCSISelect utility
The following table shows the function keys available for menu screens.

Go back to previous screen or exit SCSISelect utility
<Enter>
Select an option
<Up>
Move to the previous field
<Down>
Move to the next field
<F5>
Switch between color and monochrome
<F6>
Reset to default
Before the main screen is displayed, you must first select SCSI channel to configure. After you
select the channel and press <Enter>, the main screen is displayed.
4.2 Configure/View Host Adapter Settings
When selected, this brings up the Configuration Menu.
4.2.1 Host Adapter SCSI ID
Each channel on the controller has the default SCSI ID of 7, which gives the channel the highest
priority on the SCSI bus. We recommend that you leave this ID at 7.
