SCSI Controller Connectors (DP533-S Only)
Function: The SCSI device connectors, marked ‘SCSI-A’
and ‘SCSI-B’, is for connecting SCSI devices to the
motherboard.
Description: The SCSI device connectors support con-
necting multiple devices to the motherboard. These are
controlled by the onboard Adaptec AIC-7902W SCSI con-
troller. The ‘connectors use 68-pin SCSI ribbon cables to
connect devices. One cable is provided with the DP533-
S. You must pruchase a second cable if needed.
More Information: See the section on “Connecting Inter-
nal Peripherals” in Chapter 4 for instructions on connect-
ing a floppy disk drive. Technical specifications are listed
in Chapter 7.
