Intel E7505 Chipset
This motherboard uses the Intel E7505 Chipset. It is a
high-powered chipset intended for workstation applica-
tions. The components of the Intel E7505 Chipset include
the following devices mounted on the board:
• E7505 Memory & Graphics Controller Hub (MCH)
• 82801DB I/O Controller Hub (ICH4)
• 82802 AB Firmware Hub (FWH)
• 82806 AA 64-bit Bus Master PCI Expander (P64H2)
The chipset provides host bus, memory, AGP, and I/O
interfaces.
Intel Gigabit Ethernet LAN Controller
The DP533 Series motherboards have an Intel Kenai 32
82540EM Gigabit Ethernet controller onboard which in-
cludes the following features:
• High-speed 1Gigabit/sec data transfer
• Support for 10-BaseT and 100Base-TX
• Wake On LAN support
TI IEEE-1394 Controller
The DP533 Series motherboards have a Texas Instruments
TSB43AB22 IEEE-1394 controller onboard which has the
following functions:
• Full 1394a-2000 support
• Data transfer rates of 100, 200 and 400Mb/s
Adaptec AIC-7902 SCSI Controller
The DP533-S motherboard has an Adaptec AIC-7902 SCSI
controller onboard which includes the following features:
• High-speed SCSI data transfer
• Two SCSI channel connectors
