1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose
The RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven Development platform incorporates RZ/G1M/G1N CPU based Qseven SOM and Qseven
Carrier board for complete validation of RZ/G1M/G1N CPU functionality. This document is the Hardware User Guide
for the RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven Carrier Board. This Guide provides detailed information on the overall design and
usage of the Qseven Carrier Board from a Hardware Systems perspective. Complete information about the
RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven SOM hardware is explained in other document “iW-RainboW-G20M-
RZG1M_RZG1N_QsevenSOM-HardwareUserGuide-RELx.y”.
1.2 Overview
iWave's RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven Development platform incorporates RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven SOM which is based on
Renesas’s high performance RZ/G1M or RZ/G1N Dual ARM Cortex A15 processor and the Qseven carrier board with
7" Capacitive Touch LCD. The development board can be used for quick prototyping of various applications targeted
by the RZ/G1M/G1N processor. With the 120mmx120mm Nano ITX size, Qseven carrier board is highly packed with
all the necessary on-board connectors to validate the Qseven features of RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven SOM. iWave also
supports Camera Add-On Module for RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven Development platform to validate Expansion connector
interfaces of RZ/G1M/G1N Qseven SOM.
