Connect the mains cable to the mains
socket on wall.
• Ensure the mains power is switched
on. Your unit is ready to use.
installing the batteries
You can only use the AC adapter for the power supply.
Batteries (not supplied) are used to maintain the unit’s settings if the mains power is
interrupted.
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Insert 2 x AA 1.5V batteries with the correct polarities (+/-) as indicated.
3. Close the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries if they are exhausted or will not be used for a long time.
• Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed of properly,
according to local regulations.
• Risk of explosion! Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine or fire. Never discard
batteries in a fire.
Unplug the unit from the mains
power when not in use.
