Radio application cannot find radio modem

•

Make sure the IRQ setting for COM4 is set correctly in the SCU. Many DOS applications assume this to be
IRQ 3 rather than the default of IRQ 10.

See Section 6 Customizing Your Bios Settings.

Make sure that XCPRF is being loaded in AUTOEXEC.BAT before starting the application.

Activating the Radio TSR while in the DOS Editor causes the computer to lock up requir-
ing a hardware reset

•

Do not use CTRL+ALT+R while inside the DOS Editor.

The Transparent Mode application doesn’t work

•

This application is only for the ARDIS radio network.
