8. CHANGE OF WORKING FREQUENCY (NOT VALID FOR
GCFI VERSIONS)
ATTENTION!: THE CHANGE OF THE WORKING FREQUENCY MUST ONLY BE DONE
BY AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL.
The system works in the UHF band with frequencies between 433.050 MHz and 434.775 MHz (UN
30 and 32 of the C.N.A.F.), or between 868.000 MHz and 870.000 MHz (UN 39 of the C.N.A.F.),
according to the model acquired, and complies with the requirements of the telecommunications and
security regulations I-ETS 300-220.
To change the working frequency in automatic mode, proceed as follows on the transmitter:
• Check that the receiver is ready to work. Start the device by unlocking the transmitter EMERGENCY
STOP.
• On the transmitter, hold down the CHANNEL 15 push-button (Figure 7.1.) and lock the
EMERGENCY STOP. The transmitter automatically selects a new frequency and sends it to the
receiver. The transmitter and receiver will indicate through the LEDs
&
the new working
frequency (see section 7).
If the frequency change has been correctly carried out, the LEDs
&
will stop flashing. In the
case that the frequency change does not take place correctly, repeat the process until the receiver
picks up a free channel.
After changing the working frequency, in order to continue operating with the radio control it is
necessary to unlock the emergency stop push-button (EMERGENCY STOP). The led S1 of the
receiver will light up permanently indicating that the stop and start relays are activated, consequently
the general contactor of the machine should be reset, and now it can carry out any manoeuvre.
