Operating the side rails and holding brackets
Raise wooden side rails:
Pull the upper side rail as high as possible until the latching mechanism audibly snaps into place.
Lower wooden side rails:
Lift upper side rail until the trigger can be pressed. Keep the trigger pressed and lower side parts.

The side rails only fulfil the protective function when the head section and foot section are
lowered.
If a patient with raised side rails is left unattended, to prevent the risk of falling when
climbing over the rails, the bed must always be in lowest height position!
Only use the original delivered ISKO-KOCH side rails! The climb height of min. 22cm from the
upper edge of the unladen mattress must always be guaranteed.
