USB 2.0 HOST: J800
IGEP
™
v2 includes an USB 2.0 HS HOST port available through Type A socket, J800. Hardware
provides power on/off switch control and up to 500mA of current limit at 5V. When using USB
power is mandatory you check the maximum current consumption is lower than 500mA.
USB HOST Port supports only high speed devices (USB 2.0 HS devices). In order to support low
speed devices (USB 1.0 LS devices) or full speed devices (USB 1.1 FS devices), external self
powered USB 2.0 HUB must be used.
J800 is RECEPTACLE USB TYPE A CONNECTOR with Part Number ASSMAN USB-1A or any other
compatible:
WHEN USING POWER FROM USB PORT YOU MUST ENSURE THE CURRENT DRAIN
IS LOWER THAN 500mA.
