WARNING: IF YOU HAVE AN IGEP
TM
v2 BOARD REVISION B YOU MUST BE
AWARE YOU ONLY HAVE ONE RS232 DEBUG INTERFACE (WITH TRANSCEIVER)
ON IGEP
TM
v2 BOARD REVISION C YOU MAY NEED TO MODIFY YOUR SERIAL
DEBUG CABLE IN ORDER TO AVOID POSSIBLE MALFUNCTIONNING.

DEBUG CABLE MODIFICATIONS (ONLY REV C)
Only on IGEP
TM
v2 BOARD REVISION C you may require to make some modifications ONLY in
case you connect your IGEP
TM
v2 with an old device that needs RTS and/or RTC signals. Due to
some pins of J960 connector are connected to ground you may be experiencing some troubles
with such kind of devices. ONLY if this is your case here we give you a hardware solution
consisting on cutting some of the wires of debug connector:
1-With a cutter separate carefully the group of last 4 wires from the group of the first 5.
2-Cut the group of the last 4 wires (6, 7, 8 and 9) with a scissor.
3-Your debug cable has now these 4 wires disabled.
4-You are now ready to connect your device.
