Double check the lock nut for correct, secure grinding-stone installation before each use.

Wear ANSI Z87.1 compliant safety goggles.
Do not use grinding wheels that have a max RPM less than the marked RPM rating on the tool.
Keep hands clear from grinding wheel during use.
Electric shock hazard. Do not expose to rain or use in damp locations.
Do not use for wet grinding.
Do not use wheel if cracked or chipped.
Reduce the risk of unintentional starting. Make sure switch is in off position before plugging in.
Must ONLY be used with a standard 12V battery.

NEVER sharpen a chainsaw while the chainsaw’s engine is running.
Never exceed the manufacturer’s recommended depth-gauge setting for your chain.
Follow manufacturer’s current specifications for correct filing angles.
Excessive depth-gauge settings or incorrect filing angles can increase the risk of kickback, which
can cause serious injury to the operator or bystanders.
Place your saw on a flat, solid, stable surface so it will not move or slide around during the sharpening
process. The chain tension should
be adjusted to the manufacturer’s specifications.
