Note:
1. The rated current of the fan protection module must be greater than the rated current of the fan.
2. The rated current of the fan cannot exceed 10A due to the limitation of the load carrying capacity of
the fan protection module.
3. The overcurrent threshold in the above table is 50Hz sine wave RMS value. When the sine wave
peak is reached, the protection starts.
4. The starting current of the fan is generally 6-8 times its rated current, the time is very short, so it will
not affect the VFD or the power grid. When the fan starts at power frequency, the overcurrent
protection will not act. When fan starts with exceptions and the starting current is more than 10 times
its rated current, the overcurrent protection acts.

After completing the wiring according to Figure B-70, set the following parameters in the VFD.
1. P05.01=9, S1 terminal is set to external fault input.
2. P05.10=0x001, S1 polarity setting.
3. P06.02= 29, cooling fan control of main motor. Start/stop of the fan is controlled by NC contact of
the VFD relay RO3.
The MCP100 overcurrent threshold can be selected by the jumper, and the specific parameter
configuration is shown in Table B-6. After MCP100 reports overcurrent, the RLY signal needs to be set
to be valid and then set to be invalid for resetting, that is, to unblock the relay (Press the keypad reset
key on the VFD and then press the run key). If a short circuit occurs, the fuse inside MCP100 will be
