Note the position of the cabling and the slots for the
different plugs carefully. Label the connectors and
sockets or take a photograph using a digital camera.

If required, remove the cable ties that secure the cable
bundles on both sides of the electronic modules to
the chassis.
7.
Place the cable bundles out of the way of the screws (1).
8.
Loosen and remove the two screws and washers using a
Phillips screwdriver.
9.
Disconnect the battery connector (1) from the rear
battery (2).
10. Disconnect the battery cable from the electronic module.
11. Lift the electronic module rack and remove it. Place the
rack underneath the wheelchair to the rear.
12. Pull the two batteries backwards out of the chassis and
remove them. Remember that the batteries are very
heavy
Fitting the batteries:
1.
Fit the batteries in the reverse order.
2.
Ensure that the connectors and sockets in the battery
compartment are fitted correctly. There is a polarity
diagram in the battery compartment shroud.
8.5 Dahl Docking System
To retrofit a mobility device with a Dahl Docking
system, it is imperative, that the mobility device
is equipped with the correct adapter plate. This
adapter plate must be threaded to fix the lock plate
of the Dahl Docking system underneath the mobility
device.
The maximum payload with the Dahl Docking system
is 136 kg.
The maximum weight of the mobility device must
not exceed 200 kg.
