to
the
9000
XT/XDT
and
the
9000
SL
with
adjustable
back
angle
option.
NOTE:
Check
all
parts
for
shipping
damage.

conjunction with Invacare accessories. Accessories designed by other
manufacturers have not been tested by Invacare and are not recommended
for use with Invacare products.
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure that
all attaching component parts are secure.
NOTE:
For

procedure,
refer
to
FIGURE 1.
1. Remove
the
two
mounting
screws
and
washers
that
secure
the
back
upholstery
to
the
back
canes
(Detail
“A”).
2. Remove
the
two
mounting
screws,
locknuts,
and
(for
wheelchairs
manufactured
after
11/1/2005)
spacers
that
secure
one
back
cane
to
the
wheelchair
frame
(Detail
“C”).
3. Pull
the
loose
back
cane
out
of
the
back
upholstery.
4. Slide
a
new
back
cane
through
the
back
upholstery.
5. Secure
the
new
back
cane
to
the
wheelchair
frame
at
the
desired
back
height
with
the
two
mounting
screws,
locknuts,
and
(for
wheelchairs
manufactured
after
11/1/2005)
spacers
(Detail
“B”).
NOTE:
For
wheelchairs
manufactured
after
11/1/2005,
the
spacers
must
be
on
the
outside
of
the
wheelchair
in
order
for
the
mounting
screws
to
be
properly
tightened
(Detail
“C”).
