17. Duplicate Server Response Message:
Right-click the
Node Server Response
message, then right-click it, select
Copy To
and then
Receive
.
18.
Change the Second Response Message to Be Specific to Vehicle Spy Requests:
Change the name of the new message to “VSpy Server Response”. Change its
Destination Address
from to “10.0.0.99” and
Destination Port
to “60099”.
We now have our separate server response messages set up. Let’s go see how the message
exchanges look now.
19. Switch to Messages View.
20. Go Online.
21.
Go Offline:
After a couple of seconds, go offline so we can more easily see the
message transactions.
Your Vehicle Spy should show a display similar to that seen in Figure 75. Notice that the
Client
Request
messages continue to come into the RAD-Galaxy from the connected client node, and
each receives a
Node Server Response
from the server node. About every 250 ms, a
VSpy
Client Request
is sent from Vehicle Spy on the PC, and the node acting as server responds to
that as well with a
VSpy Server Response
. These two responses are the same except for their
destination address and port numbers, which again is how we can differentiate them with our
two receive message definitions so they appear with distinct message names.
