Check system operation: 

 

o

  The outdoor unit is pre-charged at the factory so no additional adjustment 

to refrigerant charge is required if line set is at design length or less.  

o

  Additional charge must be weighted in per the following table.

Example: If installation is a MSC49HP13115A and the line set is 26.4 feet long. 
That would be 10 ft. over design length. Multiply 10 ft. X 0.3 oz./ft. = 3 oz. extra 
refrigerant needed for this installation.

  After installation the pressure reading should be as indicated below in the 

charts.  

o

  This pressure is taken from the suction side service port.  

o

  Using the pressure / temperature chart below correct refrigerant level as 

necessary.  

o

  If outdoor temperature is not within the temperature range of the graph
