A number of commands are used to control the printer’s memory, 
for example: 
•   Read the names of fi les, fonts, or images stored in the printer’s 

memory

•   Download binary fi les
•   Download .PCX fi les
•   Remove fi les
•   Remove downloaded images
•   Copy fi les

Many commonly used commands have a shorthand version to 
minimise the transfer of data. In the explanations of the various 
command that follow, both the full name and the shorthand ver-
sion will be shown, separated by a thin vertical line, for example:

mands. Parameters for commands are shown like this:
