The AdvisorOne system allows temporary bypassing of the security sensors. The
system does not monitor bypassed devices. Bypassed devices do not create an alarm.
A bypassed sensor only stays bypassed until the system is disarmed.
It is also possible to disable key fobs, disable or add mobile devices, and make name
changes to Z-Wave devices (Figure 35).

Temporarily Bypassing a Sensor
When sensors are bypassed they are not monitored by the system. The system does
not create an alarm for bypassed sensors. A sensor is bypassed as long as the system
is armed. When the system is disarmed, the sensor is monitored again.
As an example, bypassing the back door sensor may mean that a family member is
going in and out of the backyard.
Note: Certain life safety sensors, such as CO or smoke detectors, cannot be bypassed.
Contact the service provider for more information.
1. Press the Settings icon on the main screen, then press CONFIGURATION .
2. Enter a PIN access code.
3. Press DEVICES .
4. Press BYPASS next to Sensors (Figure 36).
